I do not recommend v5x for Mac OS 7 users. StuffIt Expander is a free and amazing program to unzip rar files and several other file formats like Zip, GZIP, BZIP on Mac. It is unstable and I stand by my previous comments. I followed the install directions to the letter. This is on a disk that had recently been initialized, and System Software installed/updated from 7.5 through 7.6.1. Originally I had installed 5x clean, with no other Stuffit on my machine, and I installed it with Extensions off.
